So this is a work in progress, I’ve been working on it for about 3 days now, I spent the entirety of mothers day working on it, did the entirety of the inking and penwork you see above and added some elements that weren’t in the original drawing.

I put my heart into this drawing, I haven’t been able to finish a drawing in two years for nothing but lack of inspiration. I put everything I had into it. I guess I’m a little frustrated cause when I presented it to my mother (despite it being unfinished) her reaction was a 2 second glance and “Oh uh huh…I like it…It’s cool” and she walked away.

I don’t often like my drawings, so it was a little soul crushing considering I actually was really proud of this one, on top of some of the other things I’ve been dealing with lately. I guess that’s why I’m typing this, despite my negative history with posting anything close to emotions, art, or anything remotely personal on tumblr, I just needed to vent a little even if it’s mostly to an anonymous crowd of cyberbullies and my remote selection of followers that will actually ever see this.

This drawing is called “Dragonfly Dreamer” as far as why it’s a bit of a story in my head that brought this about, my mom has her own little pen name that also being “Dragonfly Dreamer” This drawing shows us one of many in a civilization of swamp-dwelling “sprites” “faries” “Imps” or “Thumbelina” style people who developed wings to fly and more easily evade a predator filled swamps dangers. One of these “Dragonflys” dreamed of flying higher than all the rest, seeing a world beyond her own, and was shunned for it by those in her community, flying past the swamp being the one thing forbidden above all by the elders in her community.

So I came up with a concept, imagined this little Dragonfly, and the mystical swamp she came from.

I earnestly hope someone out there likes it as much as I did, it is a work in progress so far just pen, pencil, and ink, I’ll post the colored version when it’s done.

So this right here is a bunch of progress shots and shots of the completed Impmon plush toy my friend Sailoranime (i’m not posting her name all over tumblr creepers but if you want to see her tumblr and the awesome stuff she posts click the following link http://sailoranime.tumblr.com/) has been making for me.

Theres a long sappy story behind this, but the short of it is I was a lonely kid, Digimon spoke to me. I wanted so much to be a digidestened, I could never decide on a digimon of my own, I created original digimon, tried to find one that fit me, but then season 3 comes around and I meet Impmon, well ever since I’ve wanted him by my side to go on awesome adventures so I’ve always really wanted a life sized plush (especially cause we were poor when I was young and I couldn’t afford the american licensed Impmon plush, which I’m still looking for too this day! Reward if anyone finds/has one they want to sell)

I’m thrilled, I’m working on a costume to go with it to wear and be comfortable in at this years C2E2. Me and this Imp should have a lot of fun!

Childhood dream? Despite being a small one, yes, and it’s totally been fulfilled. Can’t wait to get this little guy and see the awesome Sailoranime at c2e2

This is really not okay.

I think some people fail to realize that men can be sexually assaulted, too, and not just by other men. This girl shoves him against the wall and slaps him thee fucking times when he pushes her away. Heck, he has to push her away twice before she backs off for a moment. Then she goes right back to kissing him.

Gabbity is right—if the genders were reversed, everyone on this site would be flipping a shit. And if anyone dares to tell me that it’s different when a girl does it to a guy, I will personally write you a three-page essay on why it is still not okay.

Actually to add to a level of disgusting and to add a little known insight I share with you an anecdote. At my highschool we had this health teacher, for the purposes of anonymity I’ll leave her name out but we can call her Miss.E now Miss.E took pleasure in telling her students that male rape is possible and loved going into the excruciating detail and as it turns out if a female wants to rape a male all she has to do is shove something up the mans ass, her preferred method was a broomstick, but I imagine any general long or phallic object that could fit in your average rectum would do. As it were you insert your object in the male rectum and it stimulates the male G Spot, rather instantaneously as she would have us understand and cause the man to become erect. Then all the woman would have to do is hold the man down and get to the proverbial business is at hand.

Male rape, it’s possible but a little more challenging. It also stands to reason that although many people disagree men can be sexually abused, harassed, and generally mistreated. I’d speak more maybe even from personal experience but this isn’t that sort of blog and I’m not that open with past experiences, I will go as far to say no one including my highschool health teacher has ever stuck a broom stick up my ass and rode me like a witch.

This is a redesign of Booster Gold and Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) I’ve been playing with recently.

The concept being that they traveled back to the fifties and got stuck their temporarily so they redesigned they’re costumes to fit in a bit better (skeets was also damaged during they’re trip through the time stream and Blue Beetle and Booster rebuilt her into a femdroid, so skeets looks like a female in a gold circle skirt, I have some other sketches featuring her which I’ll upload at a later time)

The designs were created for a cosplay I’m doing in the future, that being Booster.

In my experience, as a man who wears long coats and suspenders I must admit that although I share an equal love for vests they do tend to get in the way of suspenders. That is to say I know their there and they’re wonderful to me, but unless I wear them down like a hipster its like a little secret of fashion…I kinda like that.

This is my brother Mikey.

He has autism, and his birthday party is tomorrow.

My parents and I love my brother so much, I just wished other people felt the same way.

His birthday parties with relatives have never spent time with him or given him a gift. As if he didn’t understand.

His best friend (who was paid) never came back to see him since the summer …

and since then, we’ve been trying to find him new friends to hang out with.

My mom starts crying because she wants the best for her boy.

Most people don’t want to be friends with someone who’s “too different”… but I want to challenge this.

I want to show my mom and my brother how much people care about him.

He’s not going to have a big party like most would at 17, I will be thanking God if three people show up.

But could you spare a post on your blog for him?

I know someone out there thinks he’s worth it.<3

Growing up with a learning disability I know how rough this can be on people, I got lucky having only the mildest of conditions, but I grew up around a lot of kids much worse off than me and saw how the world treated them. It sucks, cause I have never met a kinder bunch of people than the learning disabled kids I went to school with and I hate seeing people treat them any differently cause of something that’s out of their hands. People are people and we should all learn to be friends regardless of the things that make us different, maybe I’m just ranting now, but this story hits me right in the feels.
